6/23/2020 - Low Contact Appointment Disclaimer

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. 

The CDC states you may become infected from respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.   Aerosolized coronavirus can remain in the air for several hours indoors. You may also contract the virus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, and then by touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.

An infected person does NOT always show symptoms and can still infect others.

To help minimize this risk, TLC Animal Hospital offers No Contact Appointments. 

Clients that elect Low Contact Appointment are voluntarily increasing their chance of exposure and assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.   You are entering at your own risk.

Clients are responsible for abiding by all rules and guidelines TLC Animal Hospital has put into place for everyone’s protection.  These rules and guidelines do not guarantee a person will not contract the virus while on premises.  See additional information below.

 We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our wonderful clients who have remained positive and patient with the protocols we have put into place.  We are fortunate to be able to help so many of our patients while doing our part to try and keep our clients and team members safe.

 Attempting to allow clients inside the clinic is very difficult due to social distancing recommendations along with disinfecting protocols.  With that in mind, we will begin to offer low contact appointments starting June 29th, in addition to offering no contact appointments.  Low contact appointments will be limited to Monday and Tuesday mornings.  These times will fill fast and you may have to schedule far in advance.  Please see below for more information.  

  • No Contact Appointments
    • A staff member will call 1-3 days before the appointment to obtain a history over the phone
    • When you arrive for the appointment, please call 920.661.9400 to let us know your arrival
    • Patient is required to be secure in a carrier or on a leash or harness
    • Please exit the vehicle and bring patient and credit card to our check in table once you see a staff member out front
    • Please do not leave the parking lot and remain in your vehicle during appointment
    • We will call with any recommendations or concerns so please monitor your cell phone
    • When a staff member exits with your pet, please meet them at the table out front
    • Masks are not required but appreciated
  • Low Contact Appointments
    • Only one person may enter with the pet
    • A mask or facial covering is required when entering and must stay in place
    • Any client that has a fever or any upper respiratory symptoms, including coughing or sneezing for any reason, must remain outside
    • Limited times available on Monday and Tuesday mornings
    • The lobby is still closed 
    • When you arrive for the appointment, please call 920.661.9400 to let us know your arrival
    • We will let you know if we are ready or if we need to call back when ready
    • Patient is required to be secure in a carrier or on a leash or harness
    • When you enter the clinic, we will have you enter an exam room and close the door
    • An assistant will enter shortly and discuss the appointment with you
    • The assistant will take the patient to our treatment area for the exam
    • After the exam, Dr. Michael will step in and discuss any question or concerns
    • Low contact appointments may be discontinued at any time
  • Medication Refills/Prescription Diet Pick Up
    • Please call 24 hours in advance for medication or products
    • We will collect credit card information over the phone for payment
    • When you arrive to pick up a medication or product, please call 920.661.9400 to let us know
    • Please exit the vehicle and wait by the check in table out front
    • A staff member will bring the item out to the table for you
    • If you would like to pick up inside, please call ahead to see if we can accommodate you

Hours:  Monday 8 am to 6 pm.  Tuesday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 8 am to noon for pre-scheduled appointments.

We will be closing at 5:00pm on Wednesday and Thursdays until further notice.  We remain open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month for pre-scheduled appointments.

We are open and are transitioning to no client contact appointments and medication/product pick up.  Clients must remain outside the building, only staff members may enter.  Please see below for additional information.
